Die Installation FONTANA ROSSA ist anlässlich des 2. Licht , - und Wasserfestivals Brixens in Südtirol/ Italien entstanden und schmükt den Brunnen auf dem Platz vor dem Hotel Elephant. Fünfzig rote, drei bis fünf Meter lange, in Form von unterschiedlich hohen Fontänen gebogene Hydraulikschläuche entspringen dem siebeneckigen Mittelpunkt des mehrstufig angelegten Brunnens.

Aus einem Drittel der roten Schläuche fliesst beständig Wasser in die tiefer gelegen Becken des Brunnens. Die weiteren Schläuche sind an den Enden mit LEDs versehen und tauchen das Wasserspiel bei Dunkelheit in Licht.
Wasser ist transparent und wird zumeist mit der Farbe Blau assoziiert.
Durch ihre roten Farbe erscheinen die Schläuche der FONTANA ROSSA wie Blutadern, die aus dem Inneren des Brunnens entspringen und schenken dem Betrachter eine Assoziationskette von Blut - Körper - Leben…Wasser.

L'installazione FONTANA ROSSA è stata creata in occasione del 2 ° Festival di Acqua e Luce a Bressanone, Alto Adige / Italia e adorna la fontana sulla piazza di fronte all'Hotel Elefante. Cinquanta tubi idraulici rossi, lunghi dai tre ai cinque metri, curvi sotto forma di fontane di diverse altezze, spuntano dal centro a sette angoli della fontana a più livelli.

Da un terzo dei tubi rossi, l'acqua scorre stabilmente nei bacini inferiori del pozzo. Gli altri tubi sono dotati di LED alle estremità e nell'oscurità immergono il gioco d’acqua nella luce.
L'acqua è trasparente ed è solitamente associata al colore blu. I tubi della FONTANA ROSSA appaiono di colore rosso come vene di sangue che salgono dall'interno della fontana, dando allo spettatore un'associazione di sangue - corpo - vita ... acqua.

The installation FONTANA ROSSA was created on the occasion of the 2nd Water Light Festival in Brixen South Tyrol / Italy and adorns the fountain on the square in front of the Hotel Elephant. Fifty red hydraulic hoses, three to five meters long, curved in the form of fountains of different heights, spring from the seven-cornered centre of the multi-level fountain. From one third of the red hoses, water flows steadily into the deeper wells of the well. The other hoses are provided with LEDs at the ends and immerse the water feature in the dark in light. Water is transparent and is usually associated with the colour blue. The hoses of the FONTANA ROSSA appear red in colour like veins of blood springing from within the well, giving the viewer an association of blood - body - life ... water.
